Job Opportunity
We are seeking experienced candidates for legal and judicial contract work focused on transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. This position is 100% remote and open to Independent Contractors, with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Weekend availability is encouraged.
Responsibilities
Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and judicial proceedings while strictly adhering to style guides.
Ensure accuracy through intense attention to detail.
Utilize legal terminology and demonstrate excellent grammar.
Qualifications
Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription is required.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to discern details in audio content.
Strong literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
Adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guides.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
Proficient typing skills with speed and accuracy.
Capability to process extreme audio/text content, which may include offensive material.
Ability to pass a background check.
Familiarity with legal terminology.
Court reporting students may also be considered.

Technical Requirements
To effectively utilize our global transcription technology, candidates must have:
High-speed internet connection.
A computer or laptop.
Quality noise-canceling headphones.
Windows 10 operating system.
An antivirus program with daily virus definition updates (excluding Webroot antivirus).
An Infinity foot pedal (highly recommended).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
