Legal Researchers/Writers For Law-Themed YouTube Channel

We're Legal Eagle, one of the most watched legal education-entertainment channels on YouTube.
We’re looking for bright, fast, thorough, thoughtful, legal researchers/analysts to join our writer’s room!
The mission of Legal Eagle is to explain the complex legal issues that govern our lives in an engaging & entertaining way. The content we make ranges from analyzing and explaining the laws behind the headlines, to “Real Lawyer Reacts” to the law in the popular media, to evergreen explainers about the law and the legal system, and more.
It's incredibly important that our videos are very well-researched and legally accurate, citing relevant case law and statutes. But unlike a standard law review note, the scripts we write from our research documents must be thought-provoking, informative, at times funny, and offer the audience the meaningful insight and analysis we’re known for.
And that’s where you come in! We’re looking for researchers who can generate excellent legal research memos with a short turnaround time (24 hours or less), find fascinating angles in their analysis, craft compelling legal arguments, and break down complex legal issues.
We intend to engage the right candidates with repeat hires, permalancer status, or more.
Applicants must:
--Be a bar-certified lawyer with at least 5 years of practice experience
--Be passionate about the law & legal education
--Be a demonstrably great legal writer and researcher
--Have a history of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
--Have at least a cursory familiarity with our Channel.

--At least one writing sample demonstrating your talent for legal research/writing.
--Please include a brief description of your areas of legal subject matter expertise
