Legal Operations Specialist – Legal Support
Robert Half is partnering with a Florida based firm, looking for a Senior Docket Specialist with bankruptcy and litigation experience. Remote position but must be located in Florida. Please connect with Danielle Cutter via LinkedIn for immediate consideration Responsibilities: • Review and analyze legal documents to generate accurate deadlines using calendaring systems such as CompuLaw. • Verify case details by cross-referencing internal databases and external resources. • Collaborate effectively with different departments to ensure seamless workflow and communication. • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of litigation, bankruptcy, and appellate procedures as well as applicable court rules. • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and procedural compliance. • Assist in onboarding and training new docketing staff on firm policies, procedures, and software. • Lead and oversee special projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards. • At least 5 years of experience in docketing, utilizing rule-based calendaring systems like CompuLaw, CourtAlert, or eDockets. • Advanced understanding of federal, state, appellate, and bankruptcy court rules. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with professionals at all levels within the organization. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic.
