Legal and Vendor Risk Management Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Legal and Vendor Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a member of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring that our company and our clients are safeguarded from potential legal and vendor risks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about risk management and has a strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and have exceptional communication skills, we would love to hear from you. Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal and regulatory frameworks to identify potential risks for the company and its clients. Develop and implement risk assessment strategies and protocols to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential legal and vendor risks. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and assess potential risks. Monitor and track legal and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and proactively address any emerging risks. Review contracts and agreements to ensure they are in alignment with company policies and procedures. Identify potential red flags in contracts and escalate to appropriate parties for further review and action. Conduct due diligence on potential vendors to assess their risk level and make recommendations for approval or rejection. Develop and maintain relationships with external legal counsel and other relevant parties to stay updated on legal and regulatory developments. Communicate potential risks and their impact to relevant stakeholders and provide recommendations for mitigation. Develop and implement risk management training and education programs for employees to increase awareness and understanding of legal and vendor risk. Prepare reports and presentations on risk assessment findings and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies. Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for process improvement to mitigate potential risks. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all risk management activities. Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as legal and regulatory requirements. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other team members on legal and vendor risk management matters. American International Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
