Legal Analyst

Position: Legal Analyst (1-year Contract) .Join us for the opportunity to grow and make a difference in ways that matter to you. • * ABOUT THIS POSITION • * The successful candidate will assist in providing legal support to T. Rowe Price’s business operations in Asia Pacific. He/she will work closely with the Legal teams based in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as other members of the EMEA and APAC Global Legal Advisory teams in providing support on funds, separate accounts and other matters. He/she should expect a wide variety of predominantly asset management assignments with primary coverage in Asia ex-Japan but from time to time there may be assignments that relate to matters in APAC. He/she may also occasionally provide support to APAC Privacy and Data Protection, as well as APAC Intellectual Property Legal team. • * PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES • ** Provides legal support in respect of Asia ex-Japan institutional and intermediaries clients by maintaining and updating various internal legal databases and systems, including compiling of various data points and checking content of existing and terminated agreements. • Provides legal support on company secretarial matters in respect of T. Rowe Price entities in APAC. • Provides legal support in respect of T. Rowe Price Australian unit trusts fund range and T. Rowe Price Funds SICAV fund range registered in APAC, including checking and reviewing offering documents. • Providing legal support on privacy and data protection matters, in particular assisting with monitoring legal and regulatory developments in APAC. • * PREFERRED (OR ESSENTIAL) QUALIFICATIONS • ** Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. • At least 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the asset management sector. • Preferably exposure in the drafting, review contracts. • Excellent written and oral skills.
