Key Responsibilities


Teach undergraduate composition courses to international undergraduate students in the ESL/EAP Program
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning and success
Provide individualized support and guidance to students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement programmatic initiatives and curriculum development
Participate in departmental meetings, events, and professional development opportunities


Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:


An MA degree or equivalent education and experience in a related field (e.g., linguistics, education, English)
Evidence of teaching effectiveness, including a formal letter of application detailing relevant qualifications and experience
A curriculum vitae with three professional references listed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and faculty


Preferred qualifications include:


Experience teaching ESL/EAP courses or working with international students
Familiarity with curriculum design and development, assessment, and evaluation
Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and methodologies
