ICT for Development (ICTD8411)
Competencies Required
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the current state of research in the Information Systems field.
Be able to demonstrate knowledge of various research methods, theories and frameworks used in the Information Systems field.
Be able to evaluate the appropriateness of specific methods, theories and frameworks for use in given Information Systems research projects and contexts.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent Presentation Skills.
Assertiveness and dynamism.
Understanding of customer service in education.
Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively.
Minimum Education Requirements
Master's in Information Technology.
Alternatively, a NQF 9 qualification that includes IT related topics.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Lecturing experience in general IT related topics.
Work experience in an IT field is advantageous.
Working Conditions
Please note that this is a Part-time lecturing role.
Positions are part-time with lectures taking place between 17:00 and 20:00
