Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist – Pharma Operations

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Location: Remote (Preferred candidates based on the East Coast)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Learning Designer to support an integration project within pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engaging training resources, including e-learnings, instructor-led training (ILT) materials, and visual content to support system adoption and business readiness.

Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Design and develop training content including ILTs, e-learning modules, and videos to support IT system implementations in a manufacturing environment
β€’ Translate complex system and process information into simple, engaging training materials
β€’ Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather content and validate accuracy
β€’ Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to develop effective training
β€’ Manage multiple training deliverables simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and to quality standards
β€’ Consult with business stakeholders to align learning materials with both learner needs and operational goals
β€’ Lead and execute training projects independently when required

Required Qualifications:
β€’ Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
β€’ Minimum 3+ years of experience in instructional design or Learning & Development, ideally within IT, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical sectors
β€’ Proven ability to create ILTs, e-learnings, and videos using tools such as:
β€’ Articulate Storyline
β€’ Adobe Creative Cloud
β€’ Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint for visual design)
β€’ Strong visual and instructional design skills
β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
β€’ Demonstrated ability to simplify technical content for diverse learner audiences
β€’ Solid project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
β€’ Analytical thinking and self-motivated work style

Additional Requirements:
β€’ A portfolio link is required, showcasing examples of training materials and your design approach
β€’ Interview process will include a demo presentation of your work and a discussion of your instructional design process
