Lead/Senior Frontend Developer (React)
Project description
Converged Process initiative focuses on a "Full Self-Service Certification" solution which supports the certification of all types of mobile devices targeted for all channels through a single self-guided experience, which can be refined and maintained by the customer with no limitation or restrictions.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React and JavaScript (ES6+).
Integrate front-end components with Atlassian Jira APIs and related Atlassian ecosystem tools.
Collaborate with back-end developers to connect UI components to Azure-hosted APIs and microservices.
Implement and maintain state management (e.g., Redux, React Query, or Context API).
Ensure compatibility and performance across modern browsers and devices.
Apply Azure DevOps CI/CD practices for code deployment and testing in an Azure Cloud environment.
Utilize Git and pull request workflows for collaborative development and version control.
Collaborate on unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups using Jira Agile boards.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in Azure Application Insights.
Skills
Must have
Strong proficiency in React (Hooks, functional components) and modern JavaScript.
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and JSON data.
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira's API or similar project management tools.
Experience deploying applications in Azure Cloud (App Services, Static Web Apps, or Containers).
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Knowledge of authentication/authorization (OAuth, Azure AD) in front-end applications.
Nice to have
Hands on with Atlassian tools with specific experience in: Groovy, Scriptrunner, Table Grid, JETI,
Experienced in developing Custom Post-functions, Behaviors, Listeners
Good knowledge in scripting like SQL, JSQL, HTML, groovy, json, yaml, python, bash
Good understanding of JIRA custom workflows, transitions, triggers, custom fields, schemas, permissions.
