Follow us to learn more: Instanda.com | LinkedIn | Twitter | YouTubeReporting to our QA Manager, we are looking for a technically savvy Lead QE to join our team and help drive the growth of INSTANDA.You will be an SME in Testing, providing leadership not just at a scrum team level, but in the QA Team and across multiple areas or projects. The role combines hands-on testing and leadership activities to support and guide testing across multiple teams and/ or projects.This role is fully remote. What you will doEnsuring that testing is being directed based on current needs, in line with the defined roadmap and working with QA Manager/s to ensure resourcing needs are anticipatedCollaborating with Development Leads and other stakeholders to champion and guide the implementation of testing practices to support delivery within the project and teamsActively participating in all phases of software development lifecycles, getting hands-on to support testing activities across teamsCollaborating with Business Analysts and Development teams to analyse requirements and build the appropriate plans and support the testing effortMonitoring, measuring and reporting on team progress while supporting your team/s to ensure their ability to deliver on their commitments and team objectivesApplying and articulating extensive, practical experience with modern test practices within an Agile context to the test engineers and developers Understand INSTANDA’s features, functionality and intended use to effectively plan, design, and oversee testing activitiesProactively supporting the QA Manager/s in driving continuous improvement with the training, tools and processes to support the QA Team and across the companySupporting Quality Engineers to build and maintain a positive, effective and efficient team, including coaching and mentoringLine management responsibilities for Quality EngineersProviding timely updates to the QA Manager on the progress of their projects, escalating concerns where requiredRequirementsProven ability to lead in delivering Quality at a scrum team or project levelAbility to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders (other teams, vendors, suppliers, etc.)Strong team and stakeholder management skillsExceptional organisation and prioritisation skills with a passion for continuous improvement - we are a fast paced, agile environmentFlexible, resilient, with a good commercial acumen coupled with a high degree of intellectual curiosityStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityWe would love it if you have:Previous exposure working with a SaaS product, in a high growth company or in the insurance industryIn addition to core job requirements, we ask that you:Have a high level of proficiency in EnglishBenefitsCompetitive salary package Generous 28 vacation days, plus bank holidays.One Dynamic Day per month on top of your holiday allowance to spend time doing the things you want to do or simply catching up with life admin.All employees are included in the company discretionary bonus scheme.Annual individual learning & development allowance Free access to LinkedIn learning and Microsoft ESI learning platformsINSTANDA partners with a local Employer of Record (EOR) entity to manage salary and benefits for our South Africa based employees.
