You will lead the design process from research through to final implementation, ensuring our products not only meet user needs but also align with DroneDeploy’s mission to provide scalable, intelligent, and automated reality capture solutions. Your work will play a pivotal role in helping our customers achieve their goals more efficiently, whether they're in construction, energy, agriculture, or other key industries. Responsibilities: Lead the full design lifecycle, from user research and prototyping to final design implementation.Apply customer-centric frameworks such as Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) to create designs that deeply resonate with user needs and drive business goals.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to align designs with business objectives and resource constraints.Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback to continuously enhance the user experience.Present and articulate design decisions and concepts to stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.Help develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across DroneDeploy’s platform. Requirements: Proven experience leading end-to-end design projects, from research to implementation.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and experience applying JTBD or similar frameworks.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team environment.Strong proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.Experience in developing and managing scalable design systems.A portfolio showcasing your ability to deliver impactful, user-centered design solutions that align with business objectives.Work-related travel: Available to travel internationally approximately two to three times a year for offsites, customer visits and conferences.
