Lead Product Designer

You will partner closely with the Product Management and Engineering leaders and play a key role in defining and shaping a holistic experience across Instructure’s product ecosystem. You will also contribute to the evolution of our design team as well as mentor other designers. What you will be doing Lead a design team that focuses on a specific problem space within our ecosystemMentor other designers, providing feedback on their work as well as professional growth coachingPartner closely with your fellow design team members to establish operational structures and best practices across our entire design teamPartner closely with product managers and developers to solve complex problems and ensure the highest quality solutionsBe an advocate for A11y best practicesWork with a rapid, iterative mindset, being open and flexible to changes based on user feedbackEngage in user research activities with our customers and usersBuild prototypes for user testing You will be/have At least 5 years of experience designing for digital productsA portfolio representing your strong design work (visual as UX) on complex digital productsPrevious experience mentoring or managing other team membersStrong problem solving skillsStrong communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong work ethic, sense of accountability and ownershipStrong attention to detail and a systematic thinkerHighly self-motivated, with a passion for data visualizationDeep knowledge and experience designing for A11y best practicesGreat team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment Additional Information We’ve always believed in hiring the most awesome people and treating them right.
