Day in the Life of a Lead Pharmacy Technician at arenaflex
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting our front-end pharmacy technician team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with data entry, customer service, and processing support tasks when the pharmacy is busy. You will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure accuracy and provide exceptional customer service to our long-term care, assisted living, and chronic care customers. Additional responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with senior technicians to coordinate daily production of assigned areas, including data entry, customer service, and automation
Troubleshooting and assisting with front-end processes and workflow issues to identify solutions
Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed
Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws

Required Qualifications for the Lead Pharmacy Technician Role
To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following qualifications and skills:

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Certification, licensure, or registration as a pharmacy technician, or as required by state law
One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician


Preferred Qualifications for the Lead Pharmacy Technician Role
While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:

Prior experience in the long-term care industry
PTCB National Certification
