Oversee and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
Analyze and optimize logistics processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and production, to ensure alignment and coordination of logistics activities.
Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to support business goals and objectives.
Train and supervise logistics team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and reports.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to logistics operations.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on logistics performance and addressing any issues or concerns.
Identify and resolve any logistical challenges or obstacles that may arise, taking proactive measures to prevent future issues.
Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Manage logistics budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions are utilized.
Provide leadership and guidance to the logistics team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
