Job Summary
β’ We are seeking a skilled Lead Java Developer with strong Android application development experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications.
β’ The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Android SDK, and backend integrations using Spring Boot and Kafka, along with a solid understanding of modern mobile architecture and Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Lead Java Developer with strong Design, develop, test, and maintain Android mobile applications using Java, with backend integration using Spring Boot and Kafka
β’ Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to define and implement application features
β’ Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards
β’ Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
β’ Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness
β’ Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and production issues
β’ Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
β’ Support application deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance
β’ Work closely with stakeholders and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Required Technical Skills
β’ Strong hands-on experience in Java
β’ Extensive experience in Android Application Development
β’ Proficiency with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
β’ Experience working with Spring Boot and Kafka for backend/messaging integration
β’ Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and XML
β’ Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns: MVVM / MVP / MVC
β’ Experience with SQLite, Room, or other mobile databases
β’ Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
β’ Strong understanding of mobile application security and performance optimization
β’ Good to Have / Preferred Skills
β’ Experience with Kotlin
β’ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile application development
β’ Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and mobile analytics
β’ Exposure to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform or Azure
β’ Experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store
β’ Healthcare domain experience is a strong plus
