Lead iOS Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead iOS Engineer to drive the development of our cutting-edge iOS applications.
In this role, you will take ownership of building innovative mobile solutions that enhance user experiences, improve performance, and integrate advanced features like Apple Pay. Join our collaborative and driven team to make a meaningful impact on mobile technology and deliver exceptional results.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, well-equipped offices in Tbilisi and Batumi or a coworking space in Kutaisi.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build and maintain advanced user interfaces for iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and a seamless user experience
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and design specifications into functional iOS components
• Integrate and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs within the iOS app
• Work closely with backend engineers to ensure smooth end-to-end feature integration
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions for iOS development
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to iOS app functionality and third-party integrations
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong experience developing iOS applications with Swift (SwiftUI and/or UIKit), at least 5+ years
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in implementing in-app payment methods, including Apple Pay integration
• Expertise in integrating with RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints
• Solid understanding of iOS performance optimization and best practices
• Familiarity with tools for testing, continuous integration, and deployment of iOS apps
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

• Background in security or payment processing, especially with authentication flows like SCA
• Proficiency in implementing biometric authentication features for iOS apps
• Showcase of past contributions to open-source iOS projects or technical blogs
