Lead Gameplay Designer, Games Studio

Develop and communicate the overall creative vision and direction for gameplay design within the Netflix Games Studio. Lead and manage a team of gameplay designers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including art, engineering, and production to ensure cohesive and innovative gameplay experiences. Maintain a deep understanding of current industry trends, player preferences, and market demands to inform and enhance gameplay design. Create and maintain detailed design documents, gameplay mechanics, and systems that align with the overall creative vision. Conduct playtesting and gather feedback to continuously iterate and improve gameplay experiences. Ensure that all gameplay design decisions align with the overall project goals and timeline. Collaborate with the game director and other leads to ensure a cohesive and consistent vision across all aspects of the game. Identify and address potential gameplay design issues and provide solutions to maintain project progress and quality. Act as a liaison between the gameplay design team and other stakeholders, providing updates, progress reports, and addressing any concerns or issues. Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and development. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to incorporate into gameplay design. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment where creativity, collaboration, and diversity are valued. Represent the studio and gameplay design team in public events, conferences, and media interviews.
