MaineIT oversees large scale enterprise applications that support the critical and diverse business needs of the State of Maine and its agencies. Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and deploy custom Workday Extend apps to meet PRISM-related business needsTranslate business requirements into Extend application architecture and designsUse Workday's App Builder and REST/SOAP APIs to integrate with Workday data and servicesImplement secure, role-based access aligned with State policiesPerform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)Prepare documentation for app design, support, and maintenanceParticipate in agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as needed RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications:A four (4) year combination of higher-level programming. A master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science may be substituted for two (2) may be substituted for (1) year of programming experience.3+ years of Workday development experience, including at least 1 year with Workday ExtendHands-on configuration experience within Workday ExtendProven ability to develop detailed configuration specification documentation.Proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP)Strong understanding of Workday security model, domains, and role assignmentsExperience designing user interfaces using Workday App BuilderAbility to read and interpret Workday business processes and reporting logicFamiliarity with Git or version control toolsStrong communication and documentation skillsStrong technical aptitude, analytical and excellent problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team settingPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting public sector Workday implementationsFamiliarity with Workday Studio and Workday Integration CloudExperience working in large enterprise or multi-agency environmentsAgile/Scrum team participation experience
