Lead Dental Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Dental Assistant to join our team at The Dental Views in Glendale, AZ. As a Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting a safe and clean environment for providing quality dental care, supervising non-professional dental back-office employees, and assisting our doctors in delivering exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of dental assisting duties, including supervising staff, maintaining equipment and inventory, communicating effectively with patients, and following universal precautions, OSHA requirements, and dental board auxiliaries' regulations. Requirements
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA Compliance Standards required
Valid California Registered Dental Assistant license and certification required
Current Radiographic Certification required
Advanced knowledge and use of dental terminology preferred
CPR certification required
Current Infection Control certification required
Means to travel from one office to another, as necessary
Vast knowledge of different types of dental procedures
Bilingual: English & Spanish preferred
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise Registered Dental Assistants and Dental Assistants
Assist the Office Manager in implementing the Code of Safe Practices and monitoring OSHA and HIPAA compliance
Responsible for inventory control and supply management
Monitor chair-side assistants' time schedules and patient flow
Supervise ordering and utilization of chair-side assistants' safety equipment
Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance
Take x-rays as prescribed by the doctor and ensure all x-rays are formatted correctly
Prepare lab cases and maintain all equipment following maintenance guidelines
Attend and participate in team meetings and daily huddles
Other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and Regional Manager
Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting School preferred
At least 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Dental Assistant is preferred
1 year of Dental Views experience may be considered
