The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and high-quality beverage preparation. This role involves leading and mentoring bartending staff, managing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and collaborating with management on menu development and special events. The Lead Bartender will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of mixology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Primary Responsibilities
? Lead the bar team in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
? Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and standards.
? Manage bar inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate records of alcohol and supplies.
? Train, mentor, and support bartenders and barbacks to ensure consistency and quality.
? Monitor bar cleanliness and organization, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
? Handle cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile daily sales.
? Collaborate with management on bar promotions, special events, and menu updates.
? Ensure responsible alcohol service by following all applicable laws and company policies.
? Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
? Maintain a positive work environment, motivating the team to meet performance goals.
? Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications
? Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.
? Proven leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead bartender role.
? Extensive knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail preparation, and mixology.
? Strong customer service and communication skills.
? Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
? Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
? Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
? Must be at least 21 years of age.
? Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and alcohol service.
? Familiarity with local and state alcohol laws and regulations.

Preferred Skills
? Advanced mixology skills, including knowledge of craft cocktails and emerging beverage trends.
? TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.
? Experience in bar menu development and cost control strategies.
? Event planning or coordination experience, especially in a bar or hospitality setting.
? Proficiency in inventory management software.
