This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring others, and interfacing directly with clients — especially U.S.-based businesses.Key Responsibilities:Review monthly financial and tax documents for accuracy and completenessManage and mentor team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional developmentHandle complex client communications, responding to inquiries within 24-hour windowCoordinate and support special projects, including audits and process optimizationWork cross-functionally with leadership to align team efforts with broader business goalsIdentify and recommend improvements in workflows, systems, or documentationExecute specialized projects including client audits and advanced tax implication researchDevelop and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiencyCollaborate with leadership to support strategic business objectivesQualifications:Required:3–5 years of experience in accounting and project managementStrong numerical aptitude and attention to detailPrevious team leadership or supervisory experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills (especially with U.S.-based clients)Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting, etc.)Preferred:Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify is a plus)Exposure to project management or workflow toolsKnowledge of sales tax software (e.g., Avalara)CPA certification or progress toward oneProfessional Attributes:Results-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiencyProactive problem solver with a strong ability to navigate tax complexitiesSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionCommitment to continuous learning and staying updated on tax laws and industry trends
