Lead 3D Modeller

Job Description: • We are seeking a Lead Senior 3D Modeler with 7-8 years of experience to join our team and oversee the creation of product models and mockups for our company website. • In this role, you will be responsible for developing highly realistic 3D representations of our product concepts, helping customers better visualize them. • You’ll collaborate closely with various teams to review product specifications, design models, and implement visual effects, including customized branding for customer approval. • Lead and mentor a team of 3D design artists, design engineers, and animators in conceptualizing and creating new models. • Develop and ensure the production of detailed, realistic digital models, maintaining high-quality standards. • Work closely with the art director to ensure models meet product design requirements and align with company standards. • Utilize advanced software tools like Autodesk Maya, Houdini, and Photoshop to develop and refine 3D models. • Provide guidance and feedback based on input from the art director, sales team, and design team. • Facilitate clear communication across multiple teams to ensure a cohesive workflow. • Manage time effectively, prioritizing projects to meet tight deadlines. • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate the latest innovations in modeling and visualization. Requirements: • Strong portfolio showcasing advanced 3D modeling skills. • Expertise in software such as 3DS Max, Maya, ZBrush, and Blender. • Experience with 3D printing, 3D scanning, and reverse engineering techniques. • Solid understanding of digital sculpting tools and real-time data visualization. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of team collaboration. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Software, 3D Art and Animation, 3D Character Design). • Proficiency in programs like Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for layout designs and technical drawings. • Experience managing 3D content creation projects, including prototyping, tooling, and ground-up modeling.
