As an HR Support Specialist, you will work under the direct supervision of our Vice President, Human Resources/Risk Management, and be responsible for maintaining strict confidentiality, exhibiting our company values, and providing high-quality service to all customers. Your duties will include:
Providing exceptional customer support services, including responding to routine requests, answering phone calls, and greeting walk-in customers
Assisting with recruitment functions, such as preparing and mailing application acknowledgments, administering skill tests, and scheduling newly hired employees for pre-employment processing
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, including employee files, applications, and other human resource documents
Coordinating departmental-related duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and preparing official personnel files
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A High School Diploma and at least five years of customer experience, with specific human resources experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new computer systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and prior experience with an HRIS database preferred
Professionalism, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic
