Landscape Designer-Part Time
Summary
TeBock's Landscape is a locally owned & operated business in the Des Moines, Iowa area. We provide landscape installation, landscape maintenance, and lawn care services throughout the Des Moines metro and central Iowa. We are looking for a part time landscape designer to help grow our business. This person will be responsible for assisting with creating both 2D and 3D drawing to share with our clients. We are looking for an individual who shows passion and has the willingness to be part of a growing business. This job has the potential to grow as the business grows.
TeBocks Landscape offers full landscape design services. The ideal candidate will be able to take hand sketches and notes from the sales team and create landscapes using computer software to show the clients. This is a part time, work from home job. Hours are flexible as long as work is completed in a timely fashion. A computer and software would be provided for the ideal candidate.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of previous landscape design experience. Candidates with no previous design experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, passion for landscaping, and desire to be a part of a growing business.
This job will be considered a part time, year-round position. The candidate can expect larger work loads during the spring and summer months.
Starting pay for this job will be $20-$25+/hour depending on experience.
Duties
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for landscape projects.
Develop comprehensive landscape designs that include plant selection, hardscaping elements, and overall layout.
Experience
Previous landscape design experience required
Strong communication skills to effectively present ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.
