Store Associate - Key Holder Full-time OverviewLiquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S (BRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GoPuff. An operated retail chain of spirits, beer, wine, and party goods in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. We offer 23 retail locations across the state, including Louisville, Lexington, Danville, Bowling Green, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, and Northern Kentucky, with a delivery radius reaching 80% of Kentucky residents.As a Key Holder, you display an ability for managerial responsibilities. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales through BRS products.ResponsibilitiesIncludes, but are not limited to:Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of BRS products and servicesArrive early to open the store and leave late to close the storeOperate the alarm system, including setting and disarmingIdentify Problems with working conditions and share with managementAssume management responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant ManagerKnowledge of BRS products to provide customers with recommendationsDrive sales in all departmentsReplenish and maintain inventoryPerform cashier functions and adhere to minor policy while completing customer transactionsOperating scanners, cash registers, and other electronicsFollow proper age verification policiesAccepting payments, such as cash, checks, and credit cardsEnsuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receiptProcessing refunds and exchangesBalance register drawerBagging or boxing purchases to ensure safe transportFollowing all BRS procedures regarding coupons and gift cardsMaintain store safety standardsStore cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathroomsAssist in promotions and setup of eventsAdditional Duties may include for eligibility:Observe BRS vehicle policies and procedure guidelinesMaintain all safety standards for BRS deliveriesDelivery items to customersFollowing delivery driving routes and time schedulesInform manager of vehicle operating condition problemsQualifications21 years of age or olderAbility to work a flexible schedule as business requires (nights, weekends and holidays)Desire to continually develop retail sales skills and knowledge of product and servicesOne year as a store associate or customer service representativePrior experience in a team environment requiring professional communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills necessary for establishing customer and team relationshipsAbility to demonstrate a positive and engaging attitude and demeanorHigh School Diploma or equivalentThis job requires the ability to perform the following:Frequently standing and moving in an assigned location safely and efficientlyCarrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 poundsHandling objects, products, and equipment safelyBending, kneelingThe information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.EOE Additional Information #LI-DNPBenefitsWe want to help our employees stay safe and healthy!
