If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.Materials Database Analyst/CoordinatorLong-term contractMostly work from home, primarily remote/virtual/WFHPreferably located in the Midwest or Northeast i.e., Warsaw, IN, Cincinnati, OH, West Chester, PA, Raritan, NJ, Raynham, MA.Purpose: The position focuses on document management tasks of updating/creating documents to support a centralized and harmonized Materials Database for a reputable medical device company.Responsibilities:• Desk environment, handling documentation of raw materials specifications.• Prepare, submit, and execute document management processes for specification changes, ensuring proper linkages, within document management system.• Assist with updating and harmonizing materials specifications.• Execute document control submissions and processes.• Update the Material List with raw material information as it becomes available.• Coordinate supplier communications to collect information regarding the raw materials used in instruments.• Support miscellaneous R&D document control related projects.Requirements and Skills:• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Materials Engineering/Science or equivalent.• Document control specialist exposure.• Strong project management skills.• Comfortable working independently with responsibility for detailed documentation within a highly regulated industry.• Ability to communicate effectively via email and/or video conferencing.• Self-motivated individual – ability to work independently without direct supervision.• Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities.• Ability to accept constructive criticism when work is reviewed.• Detail oriented, able to follow specific and intricate work instructions.• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Document management systems).• Materials background or strong desire/ability to learn.• Office deskwork, requiring sitting, using phone and computer.• Home Office, possible laboratory and surgical facilities.• Must have capabilities to work from home, virtual/remote, home office, Internet, etc.What happens next: Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
