K–12 Writing Curriculum Project Coordinator

Brown Bear Education is seeking a highly organized and proactive Curriculum Development & Recruitment Coordinator to support the development of our K–12 English writing curriculum and related educational programs. This is a remote, contract-based position ideal for someone with strong communication skills, project coordination experience, and an interest in education. About Brown Bear Education Brown Bear Education develops high-quality English writing programs for K–12 students. We are currently building a comprehensive Grade 1–12 writing curriculum and expanding our instructional team. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Development Support • Coordinate communication with curriculum authors and advisors • Assist with outreach and recruitment of potential contributors • Schedule meetings and track project milestones • Organize documents, drafts, and feedback cycles • Maintain clear records of agreements and deliverables Recruitment Support • Assist in recruiting writing instructors for our writing programs • Communicate with applicants and schedule interviews • Support onboarding documentation and coordination Administrative & Project Support • Track timelines and follow up on outstanding items • Draft and edit professional correspondence • Support other education-related projects as needed Qualifications • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment • Experience in project coordination, recruitment, or education-related roles preferred • Familiarity with AI tools and digital collaboration platforms is a plus • Interest in writing education or curriculum development is highly desirable Work Arrangement • Remote contractor position • Flexible hours, project-based workload • Compensation to be discussed based on experience If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in supporting a growing educational initiative, we would love to hear from you.
