Job Summary
We are seeking an exceptional K-5 Spanish Teacher to join our EP Online team. As a .083 FTE, EP Online teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and make a lasting impact on the educational journey of our students. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in our Eden Prairie office. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a love of learning in our students.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our online students
Provide high-quality instruction in Spanish language and culture to K-5 students
Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual needs
Build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in online education
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators through regular updates and progress reports
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Education or a related field
Minnesota Teacher License: Elementary Education or Spanish (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in teaching Spanish language and culture to K-5 students (online or traditional classroom setting)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a remote and office-based environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools
Bilingual or multilingual skills
Experience with project-based learning and inquiry-based instruction
Familiarity with educational technology and innovative teaching methods
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of Spanish language and culture
