They are seeking a Junior Technology Learning & Development Specialist to develop and deliver training for attorneys and business services professionals on Firm-supported applications, ensuring effective learning experiences through various training methods.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and delivers live trainings for attorneys and business services professionals on Firm-supported applicationsConducts trainings via live, instructor-led sessions within Skadden offices, and leads remote sessions via video conferenceWorks with the TL&D team to develop training resources, including documentation, videos, and eLearning packages for the Firm’s learning management system (LMS)Works with subject matter experts to better understand training content being developed and deliveredWorks with TL&D team to develop and continually update documentation, videos, and LMS contentProvides a consistent and high level of customer servicePrepares, organizes, conducts, and promotes Tech@Skadden training programsDelivers supported Firm software and hardware trainingAssists with the development of TL&D content, including, but not limited to documentation, videos, and eLearning packages for the Firm’s LMSCollaborates with the Global TL&D Manager and Regional TL&D Supervisor to ensure availability and timely access to Firm-provided programs, new training initiatives, handouts, class syllabi, etcAssists with identifying training needs and communicates with the Global TL&D Manager and Regional TL&D Supervisor to develop uniform global training offeringsProvides weekly Work Status ReportPresents Technology Orientations to new arrivals, ensuring a professional "Day One" training experienceProvides customized training in accordance with specific needs of individuals or groupsProvides feedback to management and recommends further training, assessment, and follow-ups accordinglyProvides global training in accordance with the needs of the FirmMonitors "Work Strategies" SharePoint for TL&D contentMonitors ITSM/ISM to identify TL&D opportunitiesProvides continuing education training as requestedDemonstrates logic, reasoning skills, analysis, and interpretation to resolve problemsWorks with colleagues to maintain and improve the standardization of Tech@Skadden offeringsSchedules core technology training classes via the Professional Development & Events calendar and internal training calendarTests and evaluates core and compliance-based training modules within Firm’s LMSDemonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with othersManages Firm resources responsiblyMaintains a regular and reliable physical presence to use on-site equipment and conduct in-person training consistent with the needs of the positionComplies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and proceduresPerforms other related duties as assignedSkillsDemonstrates proficiency in delivering live trainingConsistent demonstration of preparedness for presentationsUnderstands technical aspects of Firm applications while delivering associated trainingsDemonstrates proficiency in relevant Firm computer software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF software, etc.) with the ability to learn additional software and operating systemsThorough working knowledge of Firm systems, including, but not limited to: Citrix, NetDocuments, mobile device technology and apps, Webex, Zoom, DTE Axiom, Aderant Expert Time, Emburse, Litera Change-Pro & Metadact, Power PDF, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, Windows and macOS operating environments, Legal Technology systems and other relevant legal applicationsA broad knowledge of IT, telecommunications, and network systemsAble to adapt to different situations and is capable of covering activities ranging from basic first-line support to assisting with global projects and communications to managementAble to operate independently and understand when to escalate issuesProvides excellent customer service through effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writingDemonstrates close attention to
