Junior Staff Accountant (Remote, Part-Time to Start)

About Us Oracle Profitability is a growing bookkeeping and advisory firm supporting small to mid-sized businesses (typically $500K–$10M in revenue). We provide high-quality bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax services with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and proactive support. We are building a strong, collaborative team and are looking for a Junior Staff Accountant who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. Position Overview The Junior Staff Accountant will support day-to-day bookkeeping functions across multiple clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop their skills. Key Responsibilities • Assist with monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations • Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Online • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes • Assist with payroll processing and payroll journal entries • Maintain organized and accurate financial records • Identify and communicate discrepancies or issues • Support senior team members with cleanup and special projects Qualifications • 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience • Basic understanding of accounting principles • Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable working in a remote environment • Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, navigation) • Strong organizational and time management skills • Clear and professional communication Pay $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits • Health insurance • Work from home Education • Associate (Preferred) Work Location Remote Apply To This Job
