Junior Risk Analyst – Cyber Risk & Insurance | Evertas | Remote (United States)

We are seeking a Junior Risk Analyst to join our dynamic, industry-leading team of crypto-native experts. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for crypto/blockchain and a background in cyber security or risk management to contribute to groundbreaking work helping shape the future of risk management and insurance in the digital asset ecosystem. Responsibilities: • Utilize cyber security and risk management expertise to assist the insurance team on complex risks, helping the insurance team understand attack vectors, evaluate risks, and price specific coverages. • Assist our professional services team on ad hoc engagements related to cyber-security threats, cyber-security and other breach incident response initiatives, penetration testing, and more. • Work with the operations team to provide analytical support and enhance operational efficiency, internal processes and procedures, and risk and security controls. The ideal candidate would possess: • Background in risk management or cyber security preferred, with the proven ability to evaluate, explain, and help mitigate risks effectively. • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in cyber-security, risk management, blockchain security, or a related field. New graduates with relevant experience will also be considered. • Strong interest in and knowledge of the crypto/blockchain space, with a demonstrated understanding of key concepts and industry trends. • Experience in data analysis and modeling preferred, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Technical background a plus. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner. • Located in the Chicago area preferred, but open to remote candidates with the ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
