Our strength lies in our proprietary Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) embedded refund protection platform, which provides massive distribution and a top-tier digital purchasing experience for insurance carriers, event organizers, booking platforms, ticketing systems, and their consumers. Our e-commerce solution is embedded in millions of carts each month, and we're seeking a talented Junior QA Engineer to join our high-performing team.

β€’ Assist with exploratory testing on new and existing features, especially regarding partner site testing.
β€’ Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand the software, identify bugs and document them in the bug tracking system, and ensure that fixes are implemented correctly.
β€’ Communicate test results and findings to stakeholders, providing regular updates on testing progress and issues.
β€’ Learn and experiment with new testing methodologies, automation concepts (e.g., Playwright), and AI-assisted tools for test planning.
β€’ Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and QA syncs, providing regular updates on testing progress and issues.

Qualifications:
β€’ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
β€’ Ability to think logically and determine test cases from a project description.
β€’ Ability to learn and apply new testing methodologies and tools.
β€’ Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
β€’ Basic understanding and ability to write code in TypeScript.
β€’ No formal QA experience is required, but you must be technically curious, eager to learn, and excited to grow.

Bonus Skills:
β€’ Familiarity with manual testing tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
β€’ Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
β€’ Experience developing with Python and Typescript.
β€’ Enthusiasm for learning test automation concepts and frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
β€’ Interest in experimenting with AI tools for test planning and productivity.
