A Data Management Developer with skills in Python plays a valuable role that combines backend development, data handling, and system integration in support of ServiceNow operations. Key Responsibilities: Data Processing and Management Builds and maintains tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) across systems (e.g., databases, APIs, files). Cleans, consolidates, and prepares data for use in ServiceNow (e.g., CMDB updates, reports, workflows). Developing Supporting Applications Outside of ServiceNow Uses Flask to build lightweight REST APIs and microservices that act as bridges between external systems and ServiceNow. These services can validate, transform, or queue data before it’s pushed to ServiceNow. Integration with External Systems Develops custom Python-based connectors or cron jobs to integrate ServiceNow with other internal or third-party systems using REST or SOAP APIs. Automates data syncs (e.g., importing inventory or ticketing data into ServiceNow). Supporting Process Automation Creates helper scripts or microservices to automate repetitive ServiceNow operations (e.g., record updates, data validation, task creation). We expect you to have: Junior experience with Python – for scripting, ETL, API calls, data parsing, and automation. Junior experience with Flask is advantage – for building RESTful APIs and services that extend ServiceNow capabilities. Active English What will you learn with us? ServiceNow REST/SOAP APIs – to push/pull data to and from the platform. CSV, JSON, XML – for working with data sources. Git, CI/CD tools – for version control and deployment of microservices. Team Collaboration - Works closely with ServiceNow developers, admins, and architects to provide reliable and timely data inputs. Troubleshoots integration or data issues and proposes effective solutions.
