Junior Project Manager - Production

They are seeking a Junior Project Manager - Production to assist with project coordination, client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.ResponsibilitiesSupport the production management team in coordinating all phases of the project lifecycle, from project acquisition through closeoutAssist in organizing and facilitating meetings, such as production kickoffs and weekly production meetings, ensuring key milestones, schedules, and deliverables are communicated effectivelyCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to track progress and identify potential bottlenecksFacilitating daily production plans with foreman and production managerCoordinate labor, materials, and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources in both fabrication and installation phasesSupport the development of production schedules and help manage work-in-process (WIP) to avoid delaysPrepare and maintain essential project documentation, including production plans, installation schedules, and resource allocation recordsEnsure that project data is accurately recorded in internal systems (e.g., SPS, Stratus, Project Tracking) and that team members are kept informed of updatesProvide regular reports to the production management team on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and milestonesAssist in enforcing standardized production practices to maintain high levels of quality control and ensure safety protocols are followedParticipate in project reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide input on how to optimize future workflowsServe as a liaison between production teams, project managers, and field teams to ensure effective communicationHelp facilitate collaboration between design, engineering, and field teams to optimize production engineering and fabrication opportunitiesAssist in identifying and resolving project-related issues, including resource shortages, scheduling conflicts, and on-site challengesContribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing input on process improvements and best practicesIdentify and generate production systems/project schedules for future project opportunitiesSkillsSolid understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and industrial buildingsStrong computer and technology skills including project management software, Microsoft Outlook, smart phones, and other software used in the construction industryThe ability to decipher various project schedule formats and impacts to mechanical work; working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical scopes of workAbility to handle multiple tasks and projects at the sameBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred1 to 3 years experience in construction preferredSuccessful management of large and complex projects for sophisticated client's healthcare, laboratory, infrastructure, higher education.
