The Junior IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day IT support to employees, ensuring reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations across hardware, software, and systems.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day IT support to employees, assisting with hardware, software, mobile, and network issues to ensure smooth operationsSupport remote and onsite staff, including mobile device troubleshooting (company phone provided for responsiveness and on-call needs)Support IT compliance monitoring efforts as assigned, ensuring adherence to company IT policies, data protection standards, and industry regulationsAssist with implementing and maintaining security controls, including antivirus tools, firewalls, access controls, and endpoint securityTroubleshoot and resolve IT incidents promptly, escalating complex issues when requiredPerform routine system maintenance, including software updates, patches, backups, and device configurationCreate and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and compliance-related records to support audits and internal reviewsTrack, maintain, and report on IT assets (hardware, peripherals, mobile devices)Manage asset records within JustWorks HRIS, ensuring alignment with People Ops processesPartner with People Ops, Legal, and Business Operations on technology integrations, onboarding/offboarding, and special projects as assignedSkills1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or junior systems administrationStrong working knowledge of common operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and SaaS toolsFamiliarity with IT security best practices and compliance concepts (HIPAA awareness is a plus)Experience supporting mobile devices and distributed teamsStrong documentation habits and attention to detailClear communication skills and a service-oriented mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving needsIT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar)Experience with HRIS platforms such as JustWorksExposure to healthcare, health tech, or regulated environmentsBenefitsTech Provided: Laptop and mobile phoneCompany OverviewBlooming Health streamlines social care delivery with AI-powered, multilingual outreach and automation tools.
