Junior ETL Test Coordinator

The role involves performing validation and quality assurance testing of ETL pipelines, executing SQL queries, and monitoring ETL jobs in Databricks.ResponsibilitiesPerform validation and quality assurance testing of ETL pipelines and data workflowsExecute and monitor ETL jobs in Databricks and related data platformsDevelop and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistencyIdentify, document, and track data defects and inconsistenciesPerform source-to-target data validation and reconciliationSupport regression, integration, and system testing for data pipelinesAssist in maintaining test cases, test documentation, and QA artifactsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field1–3 years of experience in ETL testing or data quality assuranceStrong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, subqueries, data validation queries)Good understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousingExposure to DatabricksExperience in ETL pipeline execution and monitoringUnderstanding of data validation techniques and data reconciliation methodsExperience with tools such as Data BricksBasic knowledge of Python or PySparkFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExposure to data quality tools and automation frameworksCompany OverviewCGI is an IT and business consulting services firm that offers consulting, cyber security, cloud, and IT services.
