Junior Designer
Workshop/APD is an award-winning, multidisciplinary architecture and design firm. They are looking for an ambitious junior interior designer to join their talented team and work on high-end residential projects, supporting the delivery of projects through collaboration and organization. Responsibilities Manage FF&E research, sourcing, and vendor coordination Support senior designer and design manager in selecting furniture, lighting, fabrics, and accessories that align with the project’s design direction and client preferences Assist manager on creating client presentations, material and finish schedules, and design documentation Assist in reviewing design details, finishes, and customizations during furniture production Ensure final products meet design specifications and make minor adjustments as needed Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments with regular interaction and direction from senior staff Skills Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field 1 to 2 years of experience, internship experiences valid Passionate and self-driven ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to collaborate within a team and relay information timely to senior staff Highly organized and able to vision and manage all parts of the project Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Excel and all Adobe programs Studio Webware is a plus Benefits Flexible hybrid schedule Generous time‑off policies Comprehensive health and wellness benefits 401(k) with profit sharing A stocked office pantry Regular company events that keep us connected and inspired Structured mentorship and performance coaching Cross‑team design reviews Continued‑education opportunities Company Overview Workshop/APD is an architecture & planning company providing home design and commercial development services.
