Junior Data Analyst

Tripledot Studios is one of the largest independent mobile games companies in the world, and they are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join their data team. The role involves supporting the Product organization with insights to enhance game development, maintaining reporting, and investigating player behavior.ResponsibilitiesMaintain dashboards and reports, ensuring core product KPIs remain accurate and up to dateWrite and maintain SQL queries to support regular reporting and ad hoc analysis requestsMonitor key metrics — DAU, retention, session length, conversion — and flag anomalies to senior team membersConduct player behaviour analyses under guidance, exploring retention, progression, and monetisation funnelsSupport in-game event instrumentation by helping document tracking requirements with designers and feature ownersAssist in investigating data issues, gathering relevant information and escalating findings with clear contextCreate and maintain documentation on deliverables, metric definitions, and data sourcesManage personal workload effectively and communicate progress to stakeholders in a timely mannerSkillsFoundational SQL skills - able to extract, filter, and aggregate data from relational databasesFamiliarity with at least one BI or visualisation tool (Tableau, Looker, or similar)Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying basic trends, anomalies, and patternsMethodical approach to data validation and quality checking with strong attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skills, able to summarise findings in an accessible wayProactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in developing technical and analytical skillsAble to manage personal workload, prioritise tasks, and escalate blockers in a timely mannerBasic understanding of mobile game metrics such as DAU, retention, and session lengthBenefits15 days holiday in addition to bank holidays to relax and refresh throughout the year - with every 5 years of service, you’ll receive an extra 5 days!Hybrid Working: We work in the office 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
