Junior Cryptocurrency Trader
Our client is seeking a motivated and analytically inclined Junior Cryptocurrency Trader to join their trading desk. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the cryptocurrency markets to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior traders, assist in market analysis, and execute trades under supervision.
Key responsibilities include monitoring cryptocurrency market trends, news, and sentiment; assisting in the development and implementation of trading strategies; executing buy and sell orders across various cryptocurrency exchanges; and maintaining accurate trading records. You will perform quantitative analysis on market data, identify trading opportunities, and help manage risk exposure. Collaboration with the risk management and compliance teams is essential. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure. The hybrid nature of this position allows for collaboration with the team while also offering flexibility. Continuous learning about new digital assets and market dynamics is paramount.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. A strong understanding of financial markets and trading principles. Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with trading platforms or APIs is a plus. Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, as markets are 24/7. Must have a genuine passion for trading and a desire to build a career in the digital asset space.
