Junior Claims Adjuster

Crawford & Company is currently recruiting for a Junior Claims Adjuster to join their claims adjusting team. The successful candidate will evaluate general claims while working closely with a licensed adjuster, interpreting coverage and negotiating settlements in compliance with regulations. Responsibilities Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information Accurate recording, reporting and file maintenance Examine policies and claims settlement within Provincial licensing regulations Work with manager to maintain client relations Skills Post-secondary education in an insurance related field, working towards independent adjusting license and CIP designation Minimum 1 year of functional and technical experience in an insurance environment Knowledge of property and liability will be considered an asset Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed activity, transaction and reserve records Computer and reporting skills including Office 365, proficiency in using Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Strong analytical and mathematical ability Able to manage multiple priorities Must be a team player with a strong commitment to quality and customer service Company Overview Based in Atlanta, GA Crawford & Company(R) (www.crawco.com) is the world's largest publicly listed independent provider of claims management and outsourcing solutions to carriers, brokers and corporates, with an expansive global network serving clients in more than 70 countries.
