Junior Art Director

The Junior Art Director will bring ideas to life by shaping the visual direction of projects, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring high-quality creative outputs. Responsibilities Bring ideas to life Contribute to concepting and visual direction across projects Help define tone, look & feel, and overall aesthetic direction Support wardrobe, set design, and styling decisions Build and sell the work Partner with Copy to create decks and pitch ideas to clients Translate ideas into strong mood boards and presentations Incorporate feedback from CDs and ACDs to push the work forward Design for impact Help ensure all creatives meet a high standard and deliver on client goals Bring fresh thinking and strong design instincts to every brief Support production Identify production design needs and collaborate with producers Assist with set design, builds, backdrops, props, and product styling Work with photographers to concept and execute photo campaigns Jump in on shoot days — helping set up, style, and keep things running smoothly Skills 1-2 years of art direction experience Design background Skilled in Adobe CC, particularly in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Experience in Figma or Figjam Ability to move over 30 pounds for set dressing and on set days Basic understanding of cinematography and photography Ability to present information consistently and accurately- keen attention to detail Must be able to work in-person at our San Diego Production Studio Agency experience is a plus Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, no waiting period Generous employer contribution towards Medical/Dental/Vision 401(k) plan New Hire stipend to support flexible working arrangements Professional development and learning stipends Access to Production Studio in San Diego, CA 15 vacation days that will accrue in your first year; Vacation days will increase with tenure 10 paid holidays + 2 paid flexible holidays Parental Leave Benefits Company Overview Raindrop provides brand development, website development, and influencer marketing services.
