Junior Accounts Payable

THE ROLE
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about financial accuracy? We're looking for an Junior Accounts Payable to join our team and ensure seamless and efficient payment processes.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for invoice validation, accounts payable reconciliation and verification, and payment execution.
Your responsibilities will include:
Invoice Processing & Validation
Review, verify, and process supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations.

Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts to guarantee accuracy before approval.

Issue Resolution & Supplier Communication
Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies such as pricing errors, quantity mismatches, and missing approvals.

Collaborate with suppliers to address discrepancies, missing documentation, and payment-related inquiries.

Reconciliation & Record Keeping
Reconcile supplier statements, ensuring all invoices are correctly recorded and payments are processed on time.

Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and reconciliations, keeping everything organized and up to date.

Financial Support & Reporting
Assist the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing tasks, ensuring accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded.

Reconcile supplier accounts and prepare necessary reports to support financial reporting.

Payment Processing
Prepare and execute payment batches according to company policies and scheduled payment cycles.

Ensure payments are processed accurately, securely, and in line with company guidelines.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

📚 Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

💼 Experience:
2-3 years in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.

Experience with Spanish laws and financial regulations related to accounts payable is required.

💻 Technical Skills:
Advanced level of English and Microsoft Excel (a test will be conducted during the selection process).

Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
