Junior Account Executive (SMB)

Torch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up focused on improving healthcare supply ordering for providers. As a Junior Account Executive, you will drive outbound sales activities, qualify leads, and have opportunities for career advancement within the sales team.ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for prospective Torch customersConduct 90+ outbound cold calls per day to generate opportunities at the top of the funnel, then transition to 50+ once you are a fully ramped AEQualify accounts and build pipeline across dental practicesShadow closing calls and gradually take on your own full demos as soon as your fourth monthUtilize Salesforce and Dialpad to track sales activity and customer informationReceive coaching and development sessions from Sales Managers and the Sales Enablement teamWork toward promotion to AE role with full closing ownership, SDR and Marketing supportSkills9 months to 2 years of experience as a SDR in an outbound sales, SaaS SMB or mid-market environment, with a strong emphasis on qualification and discoveryFor recent graduates, demonstrated university involvement through sales-focused internships, leadership in student organizations, or participation in collegiate athleticsProven ability to handle high-volume outbound activity and qualify pipelineInterest in building a full-cycle sales careerHighly coachable, competitive, and curious with a strong internal driveExceptional written and verbal communication skillsComfortable in a fast-paced environment and motivated by ownershipBenefitsMedical and dental coverage with Aetna401k benefits with EmpowerUnlimited paid time off (PTO)Maternity and Paternity leaveCommuter benefits for hybrid employeesFully stocked pantry and fridge for hybrid employeesAn employee-driven culture with happy hours, team events, and other initiatives to celebrate our many successesCompany OverviewTorch Dental is a rapidly growing start-up whose mission is to improve the lives of healthcare providers by simplifying supply ordering, providing transparent pricing, and modernizing a previously outdated ordering process.
