Jr. WordPress Developer; Remote, Part-Time

Position Jr. WordPress Developer (Remote, Part-Time) Junior Word Press Website Developer (Part-Time, Remote) Based in Los Angeles, BD&J Injury Lawyers is a leading personal injury law firm, having recovered over $2 billion for our clients. We pride ourselves on providing results‑driven representation and a client experience people can trust. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Junior Word Press Website Developer to support our Marketing team with front‑end website development and optimization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in web development who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities • Build and design Word Press pages that stay consistent with brand standards • Develop new and update existing web pages to support marketing campaigns • Implement responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, and Avada Word Press theme tools • Ability to design layouts “in browser” following similar layouts • Ability to design “in‑browser” to recreate established layouts for new pages • Support light back‑end development tasks when needed • Work across multiple firm websites and digital properties Skills & Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience in website development and design • Proficiency in Word Press, including common plugins • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS • Experience working with the Avada Word Press theme • Familiarity with PHP and Java Script • Understanding of SEO best practices • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design direction • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, etc.) • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment Nice To Have • Experience building marketing or lead generation websites • Experience with page speed optimization and performance improvements • Additional Word Press back‑end development experience Position Details • Part‑time, fully remote role with flexible hours • Opportunity to grow into a full‑time position • Collaborative, fast‑paced Marketing team environment We Offer • Competitive hourly pay based on experience • Opportunity for advancement into a full‑time role • Collaborative and supportive team environment • Direct impact on high‑traffic, high‑conversion websites BD&J is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
