VeeFriends is an intellectual property company founded through NFTs and Web3 technology. Consisting of 283 unique characters, and two “Series”, the VeeFriends universe was imagined and designed by Gary himself and aspires to promote characteristics and traits such as patience, kindness, and empathy to help the world to find happiness. Beyond the digital art which lives on the ethereum blockchain, all Series 1 tokens provide holders with admission to VeeCon, an annual super-conference that provides VeeFriends token-holders unprecedented access to some of the biggest names in Web3 and Popular culture.
About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior video editor to join our creative department! As a video editor at VeeFriends, you will help bring to life the virtues and traits of the brand through video storytelling. You’ll be responsible for editing various recorded media (original and stock) and presenting a finished product suitable for social media platforms and higher-profile broadcast opportunities. Our mission is to create bespoke content — scripted and improvised, small and large — that exemplifies the values of our brand while also being entertaining, informative, humorous, heartwarming, and unexpected. The ultimate goal is to create content that leads to meaningful shared experiences, in person and online.
This role will be responsible for creating a variety of scripted, non-scripted, live-action, and live-action-animated hybrid content, as well as promotional videos from raw materials. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects. As video has become an essential part of communicating our brand’s messages, your position will play an important role in our company’s success.
What you’ll do:
• Work closely with the VeeFriends Team of Creator(s) to create compelling and contemporary content through the lens of the brand and our collaborators
• Create content across all media categories/channels
• Develop creative concepts that align and build our brand and gets presented to key stakeholders for approval (with feedback/revision rounds as necessary)

What we’d like to see:
• Great editorial storytelling skills; exciting, clear, and concise communication in editing
• Ability to learn and collaborate with other VeeFriends departments to create and translate marketing initiatives into a cohesive brand voice — using both pre-scripted and real-time opportunities for captivating content creation
• Excellent time management and project management skills; strong multitasking ability
• Ability to effectively envision project goals and ideate concepts that synthesize character traits, community interest, and social media trends to create engaging, shareable, on-brand content
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• Ability to effectively meet deadlines at the expected quality
• Manage and oversee all the technical aspects of video production
• Work with our creative teammates and partners
• Regularly collaborate with the marketing team
• Follow the company’s brand guidelines
• Experience using video and editing software and equipment
• Creative thinker
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc
• A deep understanding of all editorial software platforms, and social media applications is a plus, as well as a natural aptitude and understanding of software adjunct to the editorial process and final product output, e.g. sound editing, special effects, motion graphics
