Junior Product Manager Job Description
A Junior Product Manager supports the product team in planning, building, and improving products. This role involves working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and stakeholders to deliver user-focused solutions while learning core product management skills.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Assist in defining product vision, goals, and roadmap
ā¢ Gather and analyze user requirements and feedback
ā¢ Write clear product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories
ā¢ Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams
ā¢ Support feature prioritization and backlog management
ā¢ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
ā¢ Track product performance using data and analytics
ā¢ Conduct market and competitor research
ā¢ Help in product launches and go-to-market activities
ā¢ Ensure features meet quality and user expectations
Required Skills & Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
ā¢ 02 years of experience (freshers with internships/projects can apply)
ā¢ Basic understanding of product management concepts
ā¢ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
ā¢ Familiarity with Agile methodologies
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
ā¢ Experience with tools like **Jira, Confluence, or Notion
ā¢ Basic knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools
ā¢ Understanding of UX/UI principles
ā¢ Exposure to product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
ā¢ Internship or project experience in product management
