Position Title: Jr. Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Arlington, Virgina
Assignment Type: On-going contract
Compensation: $25-$30/ hour
Work Schedule: 20hr a week, onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday

Job Description:
Addison Group is seeking a motivated Jr. Digital Marketing Specialist to support our digital communications and marketing efforts. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a background in marketing, international development, or public policy who is eager to apply their skills in a mission-driven organization. You’ll work directly with the Digital Director and collaborate with a small, dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Define, maintain and organize lists:
• Should be familiar with and comfortable using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement or be willing to learn to use the system to organize and edit prospect profile and contact information as well as to create, sort, and use lists of mailable contacts.
• Drafting and sending emails:
• In Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, collaborate with team members to use written copy and images to create email templates and lay out draft emails and circulate with relevant team members for approval.
• Schedule and send emails based on guidance from marketing and development teams.
• Email program automations
• Work in Marketing Cloud Account Engagement to help build, test, run and optimize email series including lifecycle retention programs and email campaigns
• This work will include syncing lists with active automations, designing, checking and modifying flows and UX pathing as needed, and keeping email content in the automation up to date.
• Web maintenance
• Work in Wordpress to keep website up to date by posting new pages and content, making updates and edits as needed.
• Analytics and Data Reports
• Report on email performance and analytics
• Use Marketing Cloud Account Engagement tools to review the performance of sent emails, summarize the data, and circulate with team members for analysis and discussion.
• Report on website performance and analytics
• Use GA4 and other tools (Hot Jar/MonsterInsights) to set up reporting, track and report out on key website performance indicators, visitors, engagement, conversions and donations.
• Help set up, run and analyze A/B testing for email communications and website performance using existing systems and/or add on tools as needed.
