Responsibilities
ā¢ Assists in the development and maintenance of enterprise-level applications or system solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency
ā¢ Supports the planning and development of software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes individually or in concert with project teams to deliver high-quality products.
ā¢ Follow established programming and development standards and procedures and assist in updates/creation as required.
ā¢ Utilizes programming languages and object-oriented approaches to build scalable, stable, and secure applications and solutions that meet business requirements and integrate with existing software.
ā¢ Participates in architectural reviews and ensures alignment with business goals and technology strategy.
ā¢ Learn from and is mentored by Senior Architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
ā¢ Assists in the design and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to enhance business processes and data insights.
ā¢ Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure agile practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, promoting iterative development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
ā¢ Participates in regular code reviews and provides constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
ā¢ Helps develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, technical specifications, and project plans.
ā¢ Identifies and mitigates potential risks associated with architectural decisions, ensuring the stability and security of solutions.
ā¢ Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's technology strategy and recommending adoption where appropriate.
Qualifications
ā¢ Experience: 1-3 years of experience in software development. Construction industry experience is a plus.
ā¢ Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
ā¢ Additional Role Specific Skills:
ā¢ Experience with Oracle 12c, Dell Boomi, MS SQL/TSQL is a plus.
ā¢ Experience with GitHub Copilot and other AI Programming Tools is a plus.
ā¢ Experience with SCRUM/Agile is a plus.
ā¢ Ability to extract, compare, and manage data in a database.
ā¢ Basic understanding of construction principles, practices, procedures, means, and methods.
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
ā¢ Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, resourcefulness, efficiency, and attention to detail.
ā¢ Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
ā¢ Ability to learn new software and applications quickly.
ā¢ Ability to create a culture of inclusion and belonging by acting with courage, humility, and curiosity; desire to learn about others and self-reflect.
