Work Schedule, Location & Travel Expectations
The following expectations on work schedule, work location, and travel expectations:
⢠Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday, up to forty (40) hours per week with some options for flex schedule but ensuring at least six hours a day align with WSDOT's standard operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time or Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time.
⢠Work remotely from the candidate's home office within the United States.
⢠Occasional travel to other WSDOT locations may be required (this travel will be reimbursable in alignment with current state and agency travel policies).
Mandatory & Desirable Knowledge and/or Skills Mandatory:
⢠4+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience developing applications
⢠4+ years of experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC architecture pattern, and Entity Framework
⢠4+ years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Reporting Services
⢠Experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS
⢠Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
⢠Experience using/knowledge of Azure DevOps including source control, code review, build and release pipelines
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
⢠Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
⢠Experience with Microsoft Access and VBA
⢠Experience / understanding of ETL such as SSIS
⢠Experience developing with jQuery, Knockout, Bootstrap or Vue.js
⢠Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS
⢠Ability to successfully work independently and in a team environment
⢠Proven track record of organizing and managing complex data projects from planning through execution
⢠Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
⢠Excellent documentation and organizational skills
