VocoVision currently has a need for a licensed special education teacher for a remote case management position with a district in Maine. The selected teacher will be assigned a group of K-8 students to case manage. They will be responsible for progress monitoring, meeting with parents, attending IEP meetings, and collaborating with other educators at the district.

Responsibilities:
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
• Monitor and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional plans.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices in special education and incorporate them into your teaching.

Details:
• 1.0 FTE (40 hours)
• K-8 students
• Contract position
• ASAP-End of the School Year

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Maine Certification with Special Education endorsement.
• 2+ years of experience working in Special Education
